The ISHTAR neon, made of blown glass, is a luminous manifesto, a vibrant visual poem that forms a play of letters and light.

Extinguished, its calligraphic lines form the word "war" (حرب)

When lit, the same curves reveal the word: “love” (حب).

Like a desire to illuminate love in the darkness.

This visual duality perfectly symbolizes the constant transformation of emotions and intentions as well as the ambivalence of Ishtar, the Mesopotamian goddess of love and war, embodying both creation and destruction.
