BIRD OF PARADISE, a floor lamp that doesn't look like one. Inspired by the Strelitzia plant, commonly called the bird of paradise, it rises elegantly and curves delicately like a stem carried by a light breeze.
Anchored on a solid marble base,
the floor lamp combines the
solidity of the mineral base
with the airy finesse of its stem.
Its structure in expanded metal
sheet, finely worked, evokes
the slender leaves of this tropical
